Greetings Divers! Well, the days are getting longer and warmer, (and I think the snow is finished), so it won’t be too  long before we will be diving here in our own backyards! As has been mentioned often in this newsletter, the best way to improve your skills and keep yourself safe while diving, is to get out there and dive! Luckily, it is not necessary to go far to find some great diving. We have planned many varied outings for the coming season and hope you will join our happy clan for some dive adventures and to get the next diver rating. For your convenience, here is Manta Divers’ tentative schedule of events through September. If you are interested in joining us, especially if you need equipment, please sign up ahead of time. For the overnights at Wazee and Haigh, we plan to do a night dive, so remember you need a flashlight. Arrangements for gear must be made in advance. If you are planning on joining us on any of the overnights, here are some suggestions for rooms. Be sure to always ask for the diver discount! REMINDER!! The Shop will be closed April 11-17 for our Cozumel trip. Please plan ahead if you need anything for your travels. Interested in Rescue Diver Class? Classroom sessions are scheduled for June 9 & 10, June 14 for pool and June 27 &28 for open water exercises. To become a rescue diver, you must at least be an Adventure Diver who has completed the underwater navigation dive, and have a current First aid and CPR certification. If you don’t have the First Aid and CPR certifications, you can join our May 26-27 Emergency First Response class. Don’t forget that both Atomic and Aqualung are running great regulator specials.
